1. About AIT
Established in 1959, AIT was founded to advance higher education in engineering, technology, environment, and management to support Asia’s development. 2. AIT Conference Center (AITCC)
Venue for GAF9 Conference with an auditorium, meeting rooms, hotel facilities, restaurant, swimming pool and a golf course.
3. Accommodation
- AITCC Hotel: Rooms available on-site. Booking is recommended in advance.

- Student Dormitories: A limited number of participants will be accommodated in ST-2 and Dorm L. Basic facilities are provided. For a detailed list of what is included, please email us.
4. Wi-Fi on Campus
- AITCC rooms and Dorm rooms: Each of these accommodations have their own Wi-Fi facility and you will be provided with the login and password when you check-in.
- AITCC lobby: If you would like to use the internet here, please approach the reception desk. The staff will provide you with a login and password.
5. Security on Campus
Please carry your conference ID card at all times when you are in AIT campus. The security guards are required to check all residents on campus at all times.

- SCB Bank at Hom Krun Coffee Shop
- Bangkok Bank at 7-Eleven
7. Dining on Campus
AIT has many restaurants and shops with food for residents.
- AITCC restaurant: This is the conference venue, where you can eat at the restaurant on the ground floor. Thai and western food are on the menu.
- Arcade: This building is next to the conference venue and includes a bakery, a juice and health food shop, a Thai food counter, and a small grocery shop.
- Cafeteria: This is the student cafeteria and has Thai, Burmese, South Asian, Halal and vegetarian food shops.
- 7-Eleven: This is near Dorm L and has a selection of frozen and instant food, water, drinks, and other items. It is open 24 hours.
- Golf course restaurant: This restaurant is on the other side of the golf course, overlooking the lake, and serves Thai food.
- Grocery: Fresh fruits, vegetables, and grocery are available at the grocery shop at AIT, which is open 9:30 am to 10:00 pm every day.
- In addition, there are a number of Coffee and snack kiosks situated all around AIT.
Note: Drinking water is available in all meeting rooms, along with glasses. Participants are encouraged to bring their own refillable bottles, helping to reduce single-use plastic.
8. In-Campus Transportation
- Bike Rent: If you need a bike for convenience, you can use the Anywheel app to rent a bicycle around the AIT campus.
- Scooter/Segway Rent: You can also rent a Segway and use it for a whirl around the campus. Download the app.
9. AITCC Parking Areas
Taxis may park just outside AITCC hotel entrance for pick up and drop off. However, for cars, parking is located on the side of the building and in the large area behind AITCC.
If the parking areas are full, additional parking is available near the Sports Complex or the Student Village, both within walking distance.
10. Health and Safety
- Medical facilities: AIT Medical Center: Provides general healthcare services.
Nearby hospitals: Thammasat University Hospital (public), Bangkok Hospital Rangsit (private), etc.

- Campus wildlife: Monitor lizards, snakes, squirrels, and birds inhabit the campus. They are not dangerous if left undisturbed. Please exercise caution and do not feed or approach them.
